races run two very different classes simultaneously on the same track.
Hypercar sits at the top, featuring the fastest, most technologically
advanced prototypes battling for outright victory. LMGT3, based on production
GT3 platforms and requiring a bronze-rated amateur driver on every crew,
races for its own separate championship. Watching both classes interact on
track is part of what makes endurance racing so unique to follow.
