MotoGP
riders brake later than seems physically possible thanks to a combination of
carbon brake discs, precise body positioning, and razor-sharp trust in
front-tire grip. Braking performance is one of the clearest differentiators
between top riders and the rest of the grid — shaving even a few meters off a
braking zone, lap after lap, adds up to a significant time advantage over a
full race.
