racing has moved well beyond casual gaming — structured leagues now mirror
real racecraft closely enough that karting and junior car racing drivers use
them for genuine training. Practicing race starts, defensive lines, and track
knowledge in a simulator lets young drivers build reps far more cheaply than
track time alone allows.
